Preparing for interviews can be confusing. With so many tips out there, it can be tricky weeding out the good tips from the bad.

1. Talk that Talk: Do your research

"Before doing any interview, always make sure you do research on the company," Sumlin says in the video. "You would never approach an interview at J.P. Morgan the same way that you approach one at Google"

2. Do Ya Thang: Be confident

You never want your nervousness to come across to the interviewer.

3. Don't be a Rude Boy: Have some respect

"During an interview process, never do anything that could be perceived as rude or disrespectful."

Ask insightful questions to leave a solid impression.

5. Take A Bow: Finish your interview like a rock star
