The Toronto Raptors entertain the Houston Rockets at the Air Canada Centre on Sunday night.
The Toronto Raptors are aiming to extend their franchise-best winning run when they host the Houston Rockets.
The Atlantic Division-best Raptors (41-19) are coming off back-to-back wins and have won six of their last seven games. Their only loss in that stretch was against Detroit with Kyle Lowry sitting out to be rested.
Helping the two guards in this match-up are Terrence Ross, Cory Joseph, Luis Scola and Jonas Valanciunas, who had 17 points and 10 rebounds against the Blazers.
While the Raptors are poised to make the playoffs, the Rockets (30-32) are in a tight race for the last postseason berth in the Western Conference. They currently sit in eighth place just a full game ahead of the Utah Jazz.
The Rockets began a five-game trip with a 100-108 defeat at Chicago on Saturday. James Harden had 36 points and eight assists but also committed a game-high nine turnovers as they suffered their third defeat in four games.
Harden will get support from Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza and Patrick Beverley. Terrence Jones has been sick in the past few days and it's uncertain if he will return in this game.
This is the first meeting between Toronto and Houston this season. The two teams have alternated wins and losses in their last eight duels.
