SSC CGL Study Tips 2016: Quick tips to Solve Direction Sense Test in Reasoning Section

SSC CGL Exam Question Paper contains atleast 5 questions from DIRECTION SENSE TEST. The questions based on direction sense are included in reasoning tests to gauge the 'sense of direction' of the candidates. How candidates can easily tackle these questions

Always create one direction plane before solving question

A. Manytimes, the direction of person's movement is provided terms of right and left. Always imagine:

Your right is person's right
Your left is person's left.

B. If there is no specific angle mentioned in the questions, candidates should take each turn as right angle i.e. 90⁰

C. If problem is not solved mentally, candidates should draw rough sketch of the situation.

D. Candidates should also go through the basic geometric rules, such as Pythagoras Theorem etc before start of problem.
