STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Police are asking the public's help identifying a man wanted for questioning in connection with the theft of 130 packages of over-the-counter medication from the Target store in New Springville, according to a written statement from the NYPD's Deputy Commissioner for Public Information.
The incident happened April 10 at around 7:12 p.m. inside the Target store at 2873 Richmond Ave., according to the statement.
Police said a man placed 130 packages of over-the-counter medication in a duffel bag and fled the store without paying for them.
Police released photos of a man wanted for questioning in connection with the incident, taken from surveillance cameras at the Target store, police said.
The individual is described as white, between 40 and 50 years old, the statement reads. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, a black wool cap, a black shirt and light colored pants, according to the statement.
Anyone with information about this grand larceny in the 121 Precinct is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-8477 (TIPS), submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers' website[1] or by texting their tips to CRIMES (274637), then entering TIP577.
